Engineered in Australia to meet the requirements of AS/NZS 3500.4:2003 and ATS 5200.476. Designed to be installed in accordance with AS/ NZS 3500.4:2003.
Mildred Valve helps create a simpler installation to other methods by combining the protection of a safe tray with a device that stops all water flow into the hot water system when a leak is detected. The Mildred valve provides a great alternative to a safe waste when there has been no provision made or when there is simply no cost effective way to include one and a great option for holiday and rental properties by providing peace of mind in the event of a system failure whilst the premise is unoccupied. The Mildred Valve offers a greater level of protection than the absence of such a device. However damage may still occur dependent on the type of leak or failure suffered by the hot water unit (spraying water from unit, tray unable to hold contents of water unit, failure to test unit prior to installation, incorrectly installed, etc. Ensure all testing and maintenance, including battery replacement is carried out as specified by the manufacturer and choose the most appropriate product for your specific installation.
